Bura Pub is the sort of place you walk past once and then go back to on purpose. It sits tucked into a corner of Budva town, small and unshowy, with a tiled roof, a painted sign and a handful of wooden tables under a covered terrace. A crape myrtle grows out of a round stone planter right in front, which is about as much decoration as the terrace needs.
The pitch is on the sign: craft and smash. The burgers are smash burgers, pressed thin on the grill, and the beer is craft beer poured from the draft taps, with local brews as the point of the place. That is the whole menu in spirit, and the pub does not try to be a restaurant or a nightclub on the side. It is a spot for a burger and a good beer, and it is comfortable being exactly that.
The branding is a big hand-painted mural of a sun rising over a breaking wave, with the pub’s name lettered across it in a retro script. It sets the tone: relaxed, a bit surf-shack, nothing stiff about it. The furniture is plain wooden tables and benches, and that suits it.
It works best as an easy evening stop or a late lunch, somewhere to land when the beach and the Old Town have worn you out and you want something simple done well. Opening hours are not confirmed, so check before you make a special trip. If you are building a night out around the Old Town, Greco Cocktail Bar is the natural next stop for a different kind of drink.
